Who has the fastest team in town? The city's top running squads race for bragging rights in this teams-only five-miler.
This race is open only to members of established, NYRR-recognized teams (see requirements for entry below). Men and women race in separate events, with the women's race starting at 7:30 a.m. and the men's race at 8:30 a.m.
Please remember to keep the park clean for park users! Please do not staple, tape, or stake any flyers to Central Park trees or benches, and do not erect any tents or string any tarps. If you choose to meet up with your team after finishing the race, please maintain a clean area and throw all trash into the provided garbage bins.
The NYRR Team Championships are men's and women’s club points races worth double points.

Take a look through 30-plus years of the NYRR Team Championships with our all-time winners list, showcasing the top individuals and teams from every year since the race began in 1987.
Only members of established and NYRR-recognized running teams may enter this race and receive credit for it. However, you do not need to be a NYRR member to enter. In addition, entrants must have completed at least one NYRR scored/qualifying race between August 6, 2017, and July 27, 2018, for the team for which they will be scoring. Furthermore, they may not have competed for that team until at least 90 days after having competed for another team.
If a participating team has not fielded a full team in their division (men’s and women’s open, 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+) at a prior NYRR team-points race since January 1, 2017, the team may not score in that division at the NYRR Team Championships.
All team categories for the NYRR Team Championships are scored by net time. Team categories are as follows:
A portion of this event's proceeds supports NYRR’s mission to help and inspire people through running, and benefits NYRR’s youth and community programs.
Mile 1: Start on the 102nd Street Cross Drive heading west, make a left onto West Drive, and run a series of three rolling hills with the Reservoir on your left.

Mile 3: Continue around the southern end of the park and then north on East Drive, passing the three-mile mark just before the 72nd Street Transverse.
Mile 4: Pass the 72nd Street Transverse and the Boathouse on your left, then climb Cat Hill (74th Street to 78th Street) to the four-mile mark behind the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Mile 5: Continue north on East Drive and pass the Fred Lebow statue at Engineers' Gate. Make a final left turn onto the 102nd Street Cross Drive and continue to the finish.

Numbers (which include your timing tag) and souvenirs may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth avenues) on the following dates:
Show the QR code from your race confirmation email or your My NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Please pick up during the week to avoid crowds on race day. Race-day lines may impact your ability to get to the start on time. Souvenirs are subject to availability; please note that souvenirs may not be available at race-day pickup.
If you're unable to pick up your race materials, a friend or family member can pick up for you; the person will need your QR code (printed or digitally). This policy is in effect only for our weekly races, and not for the TCS New York City Marathon.
On race day, pickup will be at Race-Day Central in Central Park, located at the backstop of Ballfield 8, near the 102nd Street Cross Drive. Pickup will be available from 6:00 to 7:00 a.m. for the women's race and 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. for the men's race.
Note: Due to the smaller field sizes, each race will have only six corrals (AA through E). Please line up in your assigned corral, which may be different from your usual corral assignment.
Bag check, located at the 102nd Street Cross Drive, will be open from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. If you wish to check a bag, please allow additional time for bag check and security.
